Where are you from and how did you become a DJ?
I’m from Sacramento, CA & I became a Dj from being in the HipHop Scene in the days of the 4 elements(breaking, Graffiti, Djing & Mcing) did all of the above and the dj part stuck with me.
What is the significance of your DJ name? How did you get it?
I’ve been through several names doing graffiti and Oasis was one of the last names I choose and started creating a buzz in the mixtape Circuit & producing with so I stayed with it.
Who are your top 5 biggest influences?
Dj GreenLantern, Jazzy Jeff, Dj Am, Kid Capri & Dipset(Swag to the max)
What is your favorite part about being a DJ?
The love and energy you get from the people playing live at Clubs and shows. Being able to create a Vibe and roller coaster of emotions through out the night.
What are some of your favorite tracks coming out of the West Coast right now?
Showbanga’s I Been that because I personally got to witness that track grow in the clubs and the streets being one of the first to play it out to the public, all the new HBK stuff, the Nipsey Tape goes hard & gotta give it up to Dom Kennedy.
What’s the one thing aside from music that you love the most?
Sneakers.
