Golden State Warriors star and all-around powerhouse Stephen Curry was named the NBA’s MVP for the second year running and by unanimous decision for the first time in league history. Perhaps none were surprised less than Curry’s footwear sponsor, Under Armour, who commemorated their flagship athlete’s second straight distinction with a limited-edition “Back 2 Back” pack consisting of two pairs of Curry’s signature sneakers — the Curry One and Curry Two — celebrating Chef Curry’s achievements over the past two seasons. The Curry One comes with patented Charged Cushioning, which helps absorb impact; an AnaFoam upper; a herringbone outsole for improved court feel and grip. Meanwhile, the Curry Two features a SpeedForm tech upper which molds to the wearer’s foot and a Charged midsole. Both pairs are predominantly black and gold, while the 2015-2016 Curry Two features white on the toe box. Both pairs feature lists of Curry’s guiding ideas — FAITH, PASSION, MINDFULNESS, et cetera — sewn into the inside of the tongues. The pack comes in a sleek commemorative box, to boot.

The pre-orders sold out nearly instantly, but the pack drops June 26, according to UA’s Twitter. –HB
