Kendrick Lamar and ScHoolboy Q have just hit their first platinum single certifications, for “Alright” and “Studio.” Both already have platinum albums, so it may seem strange that their singles wouldn’t have gone platinum yet. “Alright” has already earned Kendrick Grammys for “Best Rap Song” and “Best Rap Performance” as well.
