air-jordan-11-retro-low-midnight-navy-white-gum-1A special gum colorway low-top edition of the Air Jordan 11 Retro has been put forth by Jordan Brand. Sporting a dominant “Midnight Navy” blue color across its upper, this Air Jordan 11 is detailed with a white midsole and a thick, visible light brown gum rubber outsole underneath. Matching tonal laces and an embroidered Jordan logo on the tongue keep this classic sneaker’s design simple and understated. Air Jordan 11 “Space Jam”

space-jam-air-jordan-11-return-this-year-1For the past few years, Jordan Brand has caused a frenzy during the holiday season with special releases of the iconic Air Jordan 11 silhouette. Previous drops include the “72-10,” “Legend Blue,” “Cool Grey” and “Gamma Blue” among others, but this time around arguably one of the most iconic colorways will be making its return this holiday season. Although a specific release date has not been established we can surely expect the popular “Space Jam” edition of the Air Jordan 11 to return sometime towards the end of the calendar year. –HB

Jordan Brand continues its release of “Infrared 23” editions with the iteration now being applied on the Air Jordan 11 Retro Low silhouette. As with the “Concord” version, a black patent leather is wrapped around the majority of the upper but the mesh uppers are in a black as well and a splatter print is utilized on the back. Infrared accents are then found throughout the shoe whilst the outsole retains that translucent icy-blue color. The Air Jordan 11 Retro Low “Infrared 23″ will be available at Jordan stockists starting June 14.

This Saturday will be the biggest day for the Air Jordan XI Low since it debuted back in 2001.  Thirteen years ago this month, we got the first true Jordan 11 Low after the original IE lowtops had hit in ’96. Two snake drops followed the first five pairs about a month later, and this weekend we’ll also have two pairs with textured mudguards hitting stores.  For men, there’s the ‘Green Snake’ colorway that gives us another example of Nightshade in use, while the ladies will gravitate toward that Safari print mudguard edition in white and Turbo Green.  Click in to see both in greater detail and let us know where these rank in your list of Easter weekend sneaker pickup priorities. – Box Kev[more…]
