The Air Jordan 5Lab3 borrows the 3M detailing from the Air Jordan 5. What’s interesting is that that detail isn’t one that was used on the full range of the original Air Jordan 5 colorways, but we’re happy to see this silhouette get such a flashy treatment regardless. The Air Jordan III “Fear” is releasing this Saturday, August 24th, along with the rest of the “Fear Pack” flavored Jordans. The sneaker is yet another surprise Air Jordan III release for 2013, albeit one that probably won’t stoke up quite the same level of excitement as the previous Air Jordan III ’88 pair did. It seems as if every Air Jordan III to release in 2013 is doomed to be judged against the standard set by the “Nike Air” sporting Retro ’88 pair. This, the forthcoming “Fire Red” Air Jordan III re-issue, falls just a little bit short of the benchmark set by said pair, but we can’t imagine that will result in them flying off of retail shelves any less quickly.
