Nike recently announced that it is set to release a Tokyo exclusive “Multi-Color” Air VaporMax colorway. The regionally limited colorway features a pure white Flyknit upper accented by a rainbow-hued block found at the base of the upper, while an overlayed white Swoosh and clear full-length VaporMax Air unit rounds up the design of the shoe. The “Multi-Color” Air VaporMax is set to release exclusively at Tokyo Nike locations September 7, but stay tuned for a possible wider release in the near future. –HB
The wait is over — Nike has announced an official release date for the Nike Air Vapormax “Cool Grey” colorway. As an alternative to the “Asphalt” colorway, “Cool Grey” is spread all over the Flyknit upper and the sole. With Nike’s latest Max Air innovation directly underfoot, the signature VaporMax Air unit gives the sensation as if you’re walking on air. The Nike Air Vapormax in “Cool Grey” will be available at NikeLab retail stores and online on August 3 at 10 a.m. –HB
Nike’s popular Air Vapormax model is ready to receive its first makeover. The traditional laces have been removed from the new iteration in exchange for an elastic band wrapping around the midfoot. As seen in the picture above, a Swoosh logo complements the black band which houses the Multicolor Flyknit upper right under it. While fans of its original construction patiently wait for collaborative drops alongside CLOT and Off-White™, you can now add another to the list of Vapormax drops with its upcoming laceless model. –HB
Back in May, we were treated to a closer look at the upcoming Off-White™ x Nike Air VaporMax. The new photos give us an on-foot look at the upcoming Off-White™ x Nike Air VaporMax, with closer details to the “SHOELACES,” which we haven’t seen as of yet. Nike has taken the wraps off of another copper-Swooshed VaporMax, introducing a predominately white colorway of the kicks to go along with the marled grey pair that surfaced last month. According to Nike, the duo make up an “Explorer” pack — the colorways are dubbed “Explorer Light” and “Explorer Dark” — as their Swooshes “hint at the deep-sea diving helmets that opened up underwater frontiers.” While the white pair references space suits, the grey pair “alludes to the gritty texture of faraway planets.” –HB
After first surfacing back in March, Nike’s “Dark Team Red” colorway of the Air VaporMax is officially on the way. One of the silhouette’s bolder looks to date (“Violet Dust” and “Blue Orbit” colorways notwithstanding), the upcoming release couples a combination of deep red and black throughout its Flyknit construction while also applying black to the likes of the branding and signature sole unit. Expect the “Dark Team Red” VaporMax to hit Nike Sportswear shelves on June 20 for $190. –HB
