Right on the heels of the release her new mixtape, Kehlani just announced that she has signed a deal with Atlantic Records. Ty Dolla $ign chopped it up with VladTV about signing with Atlantic Records and choosing a big label over the indie or solo route. Ty revealed that his good friend Shawn Barron, who happens to be an A&R at Atlantic, set up a meeting with the label, and that while several labels were in contact, Atlantic offered him the best deal. While Ty respects artists who go the indie route, he is content with his decision to sign to a label with the clout of Atlantic.
