Nike’s Air Max 90, over the last little while, has been reworked in a barrage of different colorway options and style renditions. From a collaborative effort alongside Off-White™ to a handful of unique textile applications, the retro classic is back this time choosing to flaunt a bit of stealth-like simplicity. Primarily dressed in black, the uppers take on a mesh, leather and suede construction with hits of white landing on the tongue, heel and midsole. First Nike confirmed that it will beretro-ing the iconic Jordan 1 colorway later this year and now NSW has announced a black-and-red rendition of the Air Max 95 slated for this summer. The clean colorway has been rendered in black suede and mesh, with hits of red in the Swoosh, tongue, and the silhouette’s signature air-bubble. White stripes along the eyelets provide the shoelaces with some much-needed contrast. –HB
For the 25th anniversary of the Nike Air Classic BW, the Portland sporting giant continues to churn out compelling mock-ups to the classic runner. Shedding some weight, the upper is constructed form mesh and is fused with synthetic overlays for a stripped-back semblance. Combining Black and University Red together, the vector-like print gives the sneaker a modern aesthetic, in addition to providing a sleek appeal. The “Graphic” will be available from Nike online store soon for $135.
