With the global pandemic taking an initial toll on a lot of opportunities for artists as well as putting all of us on high alert for our health and well-being, both Jeezy and DJ were stalled when the coronavirus lock down hit, but the duo decided to stay hard at work at making new music. Preparing to release their forthcoming mixtape, the two discuss how they linked with Lil Yachty, Quavo, and Grammy winning Hit-Boy for their ‘Clan Virus 2’ tape. While some big names are already featured on the album-quality tape, the duo hints that even more is in store for their follow up project.
Jeezy and DJ go on share their unconventional recording process with Carisma, as both have learned to compliment each other in the booth and organically create their unique sound. Blue Bucks also discuss meeting and growing up in Los Angeles and much more. – Power 106
