After two years of making waves in the world of streetwear, Popular Demand has officially opened its first retail store on the world famous Fairfax Avenue in Los Angeles. The store – which was designed and constructed by Ink & Wood – features a completely customized interior, complete with a 12 foot projection screen, surround sound, and 360 LED lighting. This is the latest milestone for the brand, which has been a favorite of hip hop artists, athletes, and various other personalities in entertainment since it’s launch in February 2012. [more…]
The brand held their official grand opening on Saturday, March 22nd and created a party like only they can. In collaboration with Young California, the day long event was sponsored by Jarritos and featured DJ sets from DJ Carisma, GNASH, DJ Damage (Revolt TV), B.A.D, and Jae Murphy. Fans were given a first-hand experience of the Popular Demand lifestyle as the event transformed from grand opening to an epic daytime party, complete with models, celebrities, and people dancing on top of benches.
Special guests that were spotted at the event included: Clyde Carson, Eric Bellinger, Mistah F.A.B., Honey Cocaine, Lil Twist, James Fauntleroy, Emily Sears, Don Benjamin, DJ Amen, Abby De La Rosa, Sibley (Revolt TV), Roach Gigz, InkMonstarr, Dorrough Music, Andrew Garcia, Curtis Lepore, Symba, Lil Rome Diddy, and many more.
