With this year’s U.S. Open underway and Hiroshi Fujiwara on hand in the Big Apple, 21 Mercer is holding a surprise release of two additional fragment design x NikeLab Air Trainer 1 colorways. Draped in black and “Gym Red,” the designs act as a capstone of sorts to this year’s bevy of collaborative Fujiwara-customized Trainer 1s and pair stark white rubber outsoles with premium tonal leather uppers, white branding along the midfoot strap and subtle fragment branding on the lateral side of the upper near the heel. Both versions are available in-store now at NSW’s own 21 Mercer in New York City and online. Read more…
Jordan Brand continues to celebrate its 30-year anniversary, looking to His Airness’ birthplace and his storied 1995 return from retirement for this Air Jordan 10. Essentially it’s a remastered and slightly modified edition of the “Fusion Red” release from 2013, the Gym Red/Black-Wolf Grey colorway of the retro silhouette. Decked out in red and capped off with 30th anniversary branding on the footbed, the “Gym Red” Air Jordan 10 is out now for $190. [more…]
The Nike Air Flight ’89 is the latest pair of sneakers to undergo one of today’s more popular sneaker trends, the “all-red” colorway treatment. The shoe features a stark, suede red upper that is held together by matching red stitching. The shoe also sports hints of black accents as seen on the filled Nike swoosh, black eyelocks and laces, and the black print on the shoe’s tongue. A black and white speckled midsole complete the look, which is versatile enough to be worn on and off the court. Pick up your pair in-store at Wish Atlanta.
The Air Jordan 1 Low is back in a classic Jordan Brand combination of black and gym red for the season. This summertime drop features a black leather upper with elephant print red leather used on the toe box, ankle and Swoosh. Capping it all off are a red nylon tongue and a crisp white midsole finished with a black outsole. Pick these up now at select stockists including in-store at Wish.
With the recent introduction of the Air Jordan Future, the brand has fused one of its most iconic designs with a one-piece woven upper. The market instantly fell in love with the new sneaker, because of the perfect balance between basketball performance and lifestyle appeal. Today we take a look at a new gym red version of the high top sneaker. Coming with a matching translucent outer sole and crisp white midsole, the new version of the sneaker has released in limited numbers today at Nike.com.
The Air Jordan 1 Retro High OG seems a lot less concerned with original colorways for 2014 than it was last year. Granted, it did a pretty good job of checking the most popular of OG pairs off the list in 2013, so we can totally understand why the sneaker’s makeups for this year are focused elsewhere. Case in point is the “Gym Red” shown here, which wears suede and leather in a fairly straightforward red and white palette. Get a look at the shoes after the click and remember that these Jordans will be in stores on June 28th, 2014. – Box Kev[more…]
