G-Eazy was featured alongside Lil Wayne on DJ Carnage’s big remix of “I Like Tuh,” with original featured artist ILoveMakonnen. While G-Eazy preps the anticipated follow-up to These Things Happen, he came through NYC and stopped by to speak on a few things. Eazy reveals that he cut the verse for Carnage “a long ass time ago,” and that the two have been friends for six years. However his excitement went up a level or three when he found out Wayne was on the track, and even better, getting to meet the New Orleans rapper at the Alexandar Wang fashion show.
We’re now a few months removed from DJ Mustard’s debut album, 10 Summers, which he initially gave to fans for free via Google Play. One of the definite stand-out records was the big collaboration with Lil Wayne, Big Sean, YG and Lil Boosie for “Face Down.” Mustard has already dropped music video for his Ty Dolla $ign and 2 Chainz-featured “Down On Me” and “Ghetto Tales” with Jay 305 & Tee Cee, but for “Face Down” he goes the lyric video route, which you can catch above!
