Nike SB x Black Bar Dunk High Collab

The team-up draws from the dark exterior of the Long Beach establishment and features graphic work from famed street artist Neckface. This time around, the upper of the Dunk High is constructed of premium black leather and matching lush nubuck, accented by Neckface’s geometric Swoosh and “Black” embroidery at the heel. Insoles express the same geometric pattern found on the Swoosh, complete with co-branding and the phrase “Always Bet on Black.” Elevating the shoe is a classic Dunk High sole unit comprised of a black midsole and a contrasting grey rubber outsole. –HB

Nike SB “Gray Box” Edition

nike-sb-dunk-high-premium-gray-box-1Just this month, Nike paid homage to the orange box era of SBs with a limited-edition take on the low-top Dunk and now it’s doing the same for its skateboarding imprint’s gray box era — this time utilizing the Dunk High as a canvas. As you might expect, gray covers the vast majority of the upper, which, in this case, is executed in premium suede. Additional details include a gum rubber outsole while green accents evoke the look of that era’s box label. Finally, a shoebox outline comes embossed on the lateral side of the upper. SB fans can add these to their collections come this Saturday, October 29,  –HB
