ACRONYM’s own Errolson Hugh has assisted the Swoosh with a helping hand in the design development of NikeLab’s forthcoming range. Kicking things off you’ll find the ACG.07.KMTR silhouette, a perfect fit for the urban commuter. It hosts water-resistant textile material along its upper which leads to reliable weather protection. A magnetic heel closure and lockdown toggles complete its look as you’re able to slide your foot in and out for easy access. –HB
After bringing back the Carnivore-inspired Air Unlimited with its collaboration with Pigalle, NikeLab has decided to give the ’90s cult classic a lifestyle spin. Opting for a more off the court look the shoe is wrapped in a tan hue with a bold contrast coming in the form of the bright white sole. The crisscrossing Velcro midfoot straps, strapped lockdown around the lower part of the ankle, and a high-cut neoprene collar design works with the tan color accenting the different tones featured on the shoe. We finally got our hands on the ACRONYM x NikeLab Air Presto Mid for a closer look at the “Hot Lava/Volt” colorway. In regards to the sole unit, it is pretty standard compared to previous releases of the Air Presto, with the forefoot of the outsole made with soft Duralon rubber for comfortability, and a heel made from BRS 1000 carbon rubber to endure running long distances. Inspired by the need for a crisp white pair on a beautiful summer day, you’ll find its upper dominated by white Flyknit matched with a white midsole. NikeLab has daubed the Zoom All Out Flyknit runner in triple black for a sneaker that is all business. Featuring an all-over mid-top Flyknit construction, the sneaker sports a reflective Swoosh overlay as well as a contrasting full-length Zoom sole in Volt. A great alternative for those who missed out on the NikeLab LunarEpic Flyknit, the Nike Zoom All Out Flyknit “Triple Black” is expected to be available via NikeLab in the coming weeks. –HB
Following the unveiling of the NikeLab ACG Lupinek Flyknit Low, we now take a closer look at the various features that put the low-top in a class of its own. Highlighting the sneaker’s rugged construction is the water-repellant Flyknit construction that has been reinforced with a VAC-TECH mudguard for excellent protection.
