adidas appears ready and willing to push its NMD R1 model back to the same prominence it held much of last year, revealing the statement sneaker in a myriad of color schemes just in the past few months alone. GORE-TEX is well-regarded for its insulating but breathable properties that repel moisture and perfectly complements the ease of slip-on footwear. The sneaker’s textured upper is contrasted with an opposing-colored sole and adidas branding on the heel’s tonal pull tab. A small GORE-TEX tag confirms the shoe’s weather resistance.
