Parley for the Oceans and adidas continue their longstanding partnership with the latest NMD_R1 colorway in “Core Black/Blue Spirit.” In line with all Parley sneakers, this new model is made of recycled plastics and features a predominantly black Primeknit upper with streaks of “Blue Spirit” and “EQT Green” weaved throughout the ribbed textile. The sock-like upper is rounded out by black laces, heel clips, stabilizers and a black full-length BOOST midsole to keep with the tonal look. –HB

Dressed in a woven core black upper, the silhouette’s signature midfoot shroud features a subtly-placed GORE-TEX tag placed beneath with additional branding accents hitting the medial side, while statement Three Stripes branding can be seen accentuating the tongue and heel tab. adidas NMD R1 ‘Black & Gum’

adidas appears ready and willing to push its NMD R1 model back to the same prominence it held much of last year, revealing the statement sneaker in a myriad of color schemes just in the past few months alone. Up next for the runner is this tonal motif, pairing a black-toned upper alongside a gum rubber outsole. Sporting a clean black finish all the way around, this new release, too, features the shark tooth design along the front, in addition to the familiar side panel overlay and heel strap. adidas and NBHD branding found on the EVA plugs, tongue and heel tab helps tie the look together. This new NEIGHBORHOOD x adidas Originals NMD R1 “Triple Black” version is expected to land at pop-up shops in Hong Kong, Tokyo, and Los Angeles on February 24. –HB

Following up on the coveted INVINCIBLE x NEIGHBORHOOD x adidas collaboration, the brand with the Three Stripes is back with another iteration of the NMD R1 Primeknit that you’ll want to add to your winter rotation, the “Core Black and Sesame.” The NMD R1’s distinctive heel panel is sesame-colored to provide an eye-catching contrast. This Foot Locker Europe exclusive “Core Black and Sesame” silhouette is set to release in-store on November 25. –HB

GORE-TEX x adidas Originals NMD City Sock

Available in two monochrome colors, this NMD CS is poised to be a cold-weather go-to. GORE-TEX is well-regarded for its insulating but breathable properties that repel moisture and perfectly complements the ease of slip-on footwear. The sneaker’s textured upper is contrasted with an opposing-colored sole and adidas branding on the heel’s tonal pull tab. A small GORE-TEX tag confirms the shoe’s weather resistance. The GORE-TEX x adidas Originals NMD City Sock is dropping November 17th! –HB
