This bold color scheme features shades of dark grey and black across different textured materials including mesh, leather and snakeskin print, rounded out by a black Air Max sole unit. The stealthy palette is interrupted by vivid hits of orange at the middle streak, laces, Swoosh outline and outsole. This time around the lowered iteration of the classic sports a bright and bold look reminiscent of the Air Jordan 1 High “Shattered Backboard.” Highlighting the paneling found on the silhouette, the upper of the shoe features a mixture of black nubuck and orange leather accented by a big Swoosh, Jumpman tongue tag and an embossed ankle Wings logo. Finally a clean white midsole and a vibrant orange patterned rubber outsole round up the design of the shoe. –HB

The orange Nike Air Python will release on February 1st, 2014 exclusively at 21 Mercer. That shouldn’t be entirely surprising to folks who have followed the saga of this shoe from their first appearance on the feet of JR Smith to their repeated cameos on feet of Mercer employees.
