Nike takes the rather ubiquitous ERDL camouflage pattern and gives it an array of colorful makeovers in this Air Max 95 pack. Developed in the 1940’s by the U.S. Army’s Engineer Research and Development Laboratory (ERDL), hence the nickname, the ERDL camouflage design has been one of the more recognizable patterns since its heavy use during the Vietnam War. Nike Air Max 98 “AOP” Pack

After donning a tonal “Team Red” look, Nike‘s Air Max 98 turns up the dial with a bold “AOP” (All-Over Print) pack that’s sure to turn heads. The flashy release includes two colorways of black/white, which debuted in April, and a never-before-seen army green camo version. The black and white version features a high-contrast, geometric print across the upper with a solid black mudguard, while the camo pair opts for varying shades of army green throughout the entire upper.

The Air Max 97 continues to prove its worth as one of Nike’s most coveted silhouettes — dropping in a barrage of bold colorway options just in the past few weeks alone. Nike Air Max 97 “Camo” Pack

The forthcoming “Camo” Pack shares a duo of camouflage-based uppers in olive and black color choices. The olive and black options rest atop white and black midsoles respectively while the camo patterns alternate throughout the paneled uppers. Reflective 3M detailing and the silhouette’s full length Air Max unit returns as the finishing touch to the upcoming drop. Nike “Black and Gold” Pack

After a big year like 2017, Nike plans to start of the next with a celebratory black and gold pack which is expected to include the Air Max 90, Air Max Plus, Air Presto Fly and Air Max Zero. The designs of each shoe are kept subtle, balancing small details of gold with varying textures of black layered on the uppers and black soles to match. –HB
