The upcoming Air Jordan 1 Retro High OG “Shadow” is already confirmed as one of the most highly-anticipated re-ups from the Jordan Brand archives. As we move closer to its release date, Nike gives us an official look of the Air Jordan 1 “Shadow,” which features a tumbled leather upper in a slick black and dark grey color scheme. The silhouette is fixed with all signature detailing as well as a “Nike Air” tongue tab for a retro hit. These are set to launch on April 14 for a retail price of $160 at select Jordan Brand stockists and Nike’s online store. –HB

The Gatorade x Air Jordan 1 Retro High OG ushers in another iteration boasting purple coloring throughout its entire upper. Dubbed “Grape,” the colorway follows the collection’s “Blue Lagoon,” “Lemon Lime” and “Orange Peel” iterations as they all hold special nods to notable Gatorade flavors. Alongside the others, this drop honors the original “Like Mike” campaign from 1991 thanks to subtle detailing such as a special hang tag, lightning logo on each lateral heel, ”Like Mike” box and more. –HB

LOSprimerosTo celebrate Latino Heritage Month, Nike recently unveiled a graphic heavy colorway of the Air Jordan 1 Retro High OG. Dubbed the “Los Primeros” colorway, the sneaker features an embossed black suede upper accented by colorful graphics inspired by Hispanic heritage found on the tongue and toe box of the shoe. The “Los Primeros” included in the “POMB” Pack is set to release at select Nike retailers September 27th. –HB

NIKEquaiAhead of the yearly Quai 54 streetball tournament in Paris this weekend, Jordan Brand has released a friends & family version of its anticipated Quai 54-themed Air Jordan 1 Retro High OG. Last week, Jordan unveiled the Quai 54 Jordan 1‘s in an all-black colorway, which featured red and blue accents on the rubber outsole, above the heel, and on the tongue. The newly revealed friends & family edition however is color-blocked with half of the sneaker in black and the other half in red on the left sneaker or blue on the right sneaker. Read more…

trplblThe signature Air Jordan 1 sneaker that started it all for MJ is dropping in another popular iteration, “Triple Black.” The model stays true to what many expect from the Retro High OG edition of the silhouette and is coated in black coloring from top to bottom. Minor detailing can be found via tumbled leather along its side paneling plus contrasting Varsity Red on its Nike Air tongue and insole branding. This does not have a release date as of yet, but stick with us for further launch details. –HB

air-jordan-1-retro-high-og-all-star-2The NBA’s All-Star Weekend festivities are on the horizon and it was only a matter of time before Jordan Brand would unveil another special edition for the NOLA celebration. Jordan will give the classic silhouette an iridescent twist along its toe-box, heel and panel along the Jordan Wings branding. To close out the design you’ll find the model resting atop of a translucent outsole with visible iridescent detailing throughout. These will officially launch on February 19 at select Jordan Brand retailers for $175. –HB

air-jordan-1-retro-high-og-black-perforated-6Rocking similar design elements to that of the white model, the jet black iteration too receives decorative perforations on the heel panels, toe box, ankle collar and Swooshes, while the stamped leather tongue label rounds out its heritage appeal. Adding the slightest of contrast is the white found on the underside sole unit. Both versions of the perforated Air Jordan 1 Retro High OG’s will make its way to select retailers as of February 4th. –HB
