A special gum colorway low-top edition of the Air Jordan 11 Retro has been put forth by Jordan Brand. Sporting a dominant “Midnight Navy” blue color across its upper, this Air Jordan 11 is detailed with a white midsole and a thick, visible light brown gum rubber outsole underneath. Matching tonal laces and an embroidered Jordan logo on the tongue keep this classic sneaker’s design simple and understated. Grab them from Sneaker Politics when they released June 4 for $170. –HB
The sneaker comes as a follow-up to the “Chrome” release back in 2002, with the AJ6 here dropping some ankle support in favor of a sleeker result. The “Chrome” colorway finds the shoe outfitted with black nubuck throughout the upper and complimented with a clean “Ice” outsole. Hits of silver line the Max Air cushioning at the heel, as well as the signature Jumpman logo on the laceguards. One of the cleaner, subtler iterations of the silhouette, pick up this iteration of the Air Jordan 6 Retro Low at retailers now. Read more…
Jordan Brand has followed up that release with something for the ladies here presenting the Air Jordan 11 Retro Low GG “Citrus.” The sneaker has been executed with a dope white mesh base layer, which is laid over with the AJXI’s signature patent leather. These clean kicks are matched with a stark, contrasting translucent orange outsole, a perfect standout for this summer season. Jordan Brand continues its release of “Infrared 23” editions with the iteration now being applied on the Air Jordan 11 Retro Low silhouette. As with the “Concord” version, a black patent leather is wrapped around the majority of the upper but the mesh uppers are in a black as well and a splatter print is utilized on the back. Infrared accents are then found throughout the shoe whilst the outsole retains that translucent icy-blue color. The Air Jordan 11 Retro Low “Infrared 23″ will be available at Jordan stockists starting June 14.
