Paying homage to Michael Jordan’s Charlotte Hornets franchise, the latest rendition of the Air Jordan 5 Retro borrows the Charlotte Hornets colors as a vibrant purple-blue coating adorns the upper and laces. Here we take a first look at the upcoming Air Jordan 7 Retro “Barcelona Days” sneaker. Nike has recognized Barcelona’s placement in sports history, as the host city of the 1992 Olympic Summer Games by designing a special pair of Air Jordan 7 basketball shoes. The colorway pays homage to Barcelona’s vibrant culture, through an array of popping color accents along a grey suede upper. Marked with a retail price tag of $190 USD, the sneakers will be available for purchase from Nike’s webstore beginning April 25.
