The NBA made it official, Steph Curry has his second straight MVP award and the first unanimous MVP in NBA history. Last year, Curry received 100 of the 130 first-place votes after averaging 23.8 points and 7.7 assists per game, while making a then-record 286 3-pointers. This season, Curry averaged 30.1 points and 6.7 assists, and shattered his own record by making 402 treys. The Warriors went 73-9, breaking the 1995-96 Bulls’ record for most wins a single season in NBA history. Curry joins Steve Nash and Magic Johnson as the only point guards with multiple MVPs. Sports brand Under Armour is set to send pro-basketballer Stephen Curry on a world tour where he will connect with people in a wide variety of countries through a series of talks, one-on-one interactions, and a reported shooting clinic. Curry will be visiting Tokyo, Beijing, Chongqing, and Shanghai and it has just been announced that he will also appear in Manilla on September 5.

The Golden State Warriors’ Stephen Curry, who set a single-season record for three-pointers made and led the league’s best regular-season team in scoring, assists and steals, has won the 2014-15 Kia NBA Most Valuable Player Award, the NBA announced today. The 6-3 guard becomes the second Warriors player to win the award, joining Wilt Chamberlain, who was honored in 1959-60 when the franchise played in Philadelphia. Read more…
