10. Tyga “Molly” feat. Wiz Khalifa & Mally Mal

The best visual that Tyga dropped this year was “Molly” featuring Wiz Khalifa & Mally Mal! This Colin Tilley directed video perfectly fit what the visual should look like because we all know what the track stands for. Tyga wanted to have iRobot meet Alice and Wonderland and he definitely succeeded in that aspect. Enjoy it again above!
9. K. Roosevelt “Do Me Now” feat. Hit-Boy

A video and track that was perfectly fit for summer was K. Roosevelt’s “Do Me Now” featuring Hits Since ’87 label owner Hit-Boy. Not only was this the best track he put out this year, but in the visual the two perform at a gorgeous bay surrounded by beautiful women! What more can you ask for?
8. Sage The Gemini “Red Nose”

Sage The Gemini not only had two of the biggest hits of this year, but also two of the biggest videos as wll! One of those videos that took over was “Red Nose.” As stated previously, “the social media spread was ridiculous! You couldn’t scroll down your Instagram, Vine or Twitter feed without seeing someone dancing to this track or talking about the catchy visual.” He also premiered this on BET’s 106 & Park!
7. Kid Ink “Show Me” feat. Chris Brown

Even though this video dropped last month, it is easily one of the top videos of the year. Kid Ink’s visual for “Show Me” featuring Chris Brown put together the DJ Mustard produced track with Ink waking up at a giant house party with women & liquor everywhere. Even more, the visual was directed by Chris Brown himself!
6. Drop City “Crickets” feat. Jeremih

Drop City Yacht Club dropped a little track this year entitled “Crickets” featuring Jeremih! Then, as summer started to get closer and closer the track began to takeover and it was easily one of the biggest summer tracks of the year. After that was said and done the visual dropped for it which perfectly depicts the summer feel that everyone fell into this year! Enjoy it again above!
5. Kendrick Lamar “Poetic Justice” feat. Drake

Closer to the beginning of the year Kendrick Lamar dropped the highly anticipated video to his 3rd single of his critically acclaimed debut album. The video was perfect, it was a haunting cinematic experience that showed the deep affection for his girlfriend mixed in with slow-motion effects. In the end gunshots send everyone ducking and K-Dot running to protect her.. Did he get there in time? Re-live it again above!
4. Ty Dolla Sign “Paranoid” feat. B.o.B

Another huge video this year was released with Ty Dolla $ign’s ‘Beach House 2’ mixtape entitled ‘Paranoid.’ The original version that caught all the attention featured Joe Moses, but a few months later another version arrived with B.o.B. and that’s where the visual came into play. The DJ Mustard produced track was turned into a dark visual directed by Ethan Lader which had Ty half dead on the kitchen floor while we learn the story about his girl killing him…. Paranoid for sure!
3. Problem “Like Whaaat” feat. Bad Lucc

One of the biggest tracks and videos of the year of course includes Problem’s “Like Whaat” featuring Bad Lucc. In terms of California this track was and still is HUGE, not only was it produced by the League of Starz but it took over Los Angeles like a plague. When the visual finally dropped you got to join the gang and travel all over Los Angeles, Compton & Inglewood! Throughout the visual you can see cameos from too many heads to name. One of the biggest #YoungCalifornia related visuals was when the HBK Gang and the Diamond Lane Gang joined in with Wiz’s Taylor Gang to create the “Bout Me” video! The track brought that Bay to LA sound to Wiz Khalifa’s ‘Cabin Fever 2′ project and somehow the video is as thrilling and high definition as the track!
