The Golden State Warriors are set to play game five of the NBA Western Conference Finals in Oakland, California tonight, which means the team’s official DJ D-Sharp will be providing the soundtrack. A native of Oaktown, Sharp has been a staple in the Bay Area hip-hop scene since the ’90s, where he started off working with local legends Blackalicious and Lyrics Born. The Golden State Warriors’ Stephen Curry, who set a single-season record for three-pointers made and led the league’s best regular-season team in scoring, assists and steals, has won the 2014-15 Kia NBA Most Valuable Player Award, the NBA announced today.
